I am a consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at Steve Biko Academic Hospital and Netcare Femina Hospital, Pretoria. I graduated as a medical doctor in 1998, at the Medical University of South Africa (Cum Laude) and completed my internship and community service at Pietersburg-Mankweng Hospital complex.
Thereafter, obtained my specialist degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from University of Pretoria in 2006: MMED (O&G); FCOG (SA). Currently I head the Urogynaecology unit at Steve Biko Academic Hospital.
In 2007, I completed the Certificate of Urodynamics from the Bristol Urological Institute (UK), and obtained specialized 3D and 4D pelvic floor ultrasound training with Prof H.P.Dietz in Sydney, Australia (2007).
I was awarded the International Urogynaecology Fellowship Award in 2008, where I performed subspecialty training in Urogynaecology at Mayday University Hospital, Croydon, London.
