I am a consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at Steve Biko Academic Hospital and Netcare Femina Hospital, Pretoria. I graduated as a medical doctor in 1998, at the Medical University of South Africa (Cum Laude) and completed my internship and community service at Pietersburg-Mankweng Hospital complex.

Thereafter, obtained my specialist degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from University of Pretoria in 2006: MMED (O&G); FCOG (SA). Currently I head the Urogynaecology unit at Steve Biko Academic Hospital.

In 2007, I completed the Certificate of Urodynamics from the Bristol Urological Institute (UK), and obtained specialized 3D and 4D pelvic floor ultrasound training with Prof H.P.Dietz in Sydney, Australia (2007).

I was awarded the International Urogynaecology Fellowship Award in 2008, where I performed subspecialty training in Urogynaecology at Mayday University Hospital, Croydon, London.

This website provides comprehensive information on issues relating to urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, fecal incontinence, overactive bladder syndrome (OAB), pelvic organ prolapse (also referred to as vaginal prolapse) etc.

Basic content on these topics will assist you in understanding these problems. This practice offers both Urodynamic studies for females only, 4D pelvic floor ultrasound and pelvic floor physiotherapy.
